Romel Alviar, a longtime resident of the Bronx, died on October 15, 2019. He was 40.
Mr. Alviar was born on February 6, 1979 in Cavite, Philippines to Romeo and Julieta (Ayalde) Alviar. He worked as a field technician for Altice Communications. He is survived by his wife Leila (Ngoho) Alviar, whom he married on June 23, 2008; his son Nathaniel Alviar; his mother Julieta Alviar; and his brother Jim Alviar.
Visiting will be Sunday 4-9pm at Joseph A. Lucchese Funeral Home, 726 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday 10am at St. Francis Xavier Church, 1703 Lurting Avenue, Bronx. Cremation will follow at Woodlawn Crematory, East 233rd Street and Webster Avenue, Bronx.
