Thomas B. Gately, a longtime resident of the Bronx, passed away on February 18, 2023. He was 79.
Mr. Gately was born on September 23, 1943 in Dysart, County Roscommon, to the late Patrick and Annie (Tivnan) Gately. He is the beloved husband of Bridget (Alice); loving father of Patrick (Lisa), Moira (Mike), the late Coleen and Thomas (Daniela); devoted brother of Bridget, Moira, John, and predeceased by siblings Malachy, Michael, Patrick and Nellie; proud grandfather of Christy, Caroline, Maureen, Liliana, Catherine and Sean.
Reposing on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 4-8pm at John Dormi & Son Funeral Home, 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Family and friends wishing to attend the visitation virtually may do so by clicking the following link at any time during the visiting hours Gately Virtual Visitation Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 11am at Our Lady of Solace Roman Catholic Church, 731 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx.
