Thomas Bennett, a retired Ramp tractor trailer driver for FedEx and a resident of Bronx, New York. Thomas departed this life on Wednesday on August 7th, 2024, at the age of 60.
Thomas was born April 3rd, 1964, to the late Roseann (Fitzgerald) and Vincent Bennett in Rockaway Beach. He was a very humble, loving, funny, individual who enjoyed long morning walks in the park, watching T.V, cooking and relaxing at home. Thomas was not just a good basketball player but an excellent one at that. He was a wonderful father, husband, brother, uncle, grandfather, in-law, cousin and friend a to many. He was a lover of dogs which he shared beautiful memories of Mandy and Abigail; he was very sad when they were no longer here especially Abigail of seventeenth years.
Thomas is survived by his wife; Kurlene (Renwick) Bennett; his children Crystle Schultz and AylssaRenee Bennett; his brothers and sisters, Susan Hegarty, Patricia Bennett Combs, Peter Bennett, Micheal Bennett; his grandson Sonny Paresis; his nieces and nephews Christine Stepp, Roseann Kurosz, Tracey Stahl, Anthony Jr. Modeste, Nichil Broughton, Anthonia Modeste, Kayleigh Alexis, Maleki Redhead; his In-laws, Ken Hegarty, Chiron Brown Mc-Intyre, Livingston Renwick, Micheal Mc-Intrye, Lisa Renwick, Daniela Brown, Iyesha Brown, Tahirah Brown, Rakeem Renwick, Shenell Renwick; cousins, Tara Demakes, Joseph Royce, John Royce, Meg O Connor and a host of other Fitzgerald family and friends.
Visiting will be Tuesday from 4-8pm at Joseph A. Lucchese Funeral Home, 726 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 11am at Our Lady of Solace Church, 731 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Interment will be private.
