It is with great sadness that we share the loss of Timothy Charles McKay on Sunday, May 24, 2020. Timothy was the proud father of Thomas and loving husband of Sandra. He is survived by his parents, Stanley and Annie; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Stanley and Felisa, Kenneth and Camille, Stephen, Victoria and Hugh McGuinness, and Richard. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Yvette, Marilyn, Joanne, Jesus, Fernando, Martin and their spouses. He leaves behind stepson Jay, nephew Coco, and his granddaughters Alexandra and Aniyah. He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Pilar and Devon Kelly, John McKay and his wife Sarah, Jaclyn McKay and Will Monkowski, Mary and Daniel Yontz, Jessica McKay, and Aidan, Owen, and Emma McGuinness. He also leaves behind his uncle, aunts and many cousins, his countless friends, and his saddened co-workers and fellow members of Teamsters Local 804. He was wonderful and caring father and husband, a dedicated son, a loving and thoughtful brother, a proud uncle, a well-loved cousin and nephew, and a lifelong friend to those who knew him well. Timothy was a lifelong Bronx resident and he was thrilled to finally purchase his home on his beloved City Island. May he long look out over the quiet water that brought him so much peace and may we all think of him when we look upon the same water. He will be missed each and every day, and the memory of Timothy will never be forgotten. Long live the Quiet Man.
