Vincenzo Corona, a longtime resident of the Bronx, died on August 11, 2021. He was 77.
Mr. Corona was born on November 9, 1943 in Italy to the late Emilio and Ida (Cotugno) Corona. On May 7, 1966 he married Antonietta Muscetta. She died on January 14, 2020. For many years before his retirement he worked as a construction worker.
He is survived by his daughters, Ida Nardella and her husband Joseph and Annalisa Corona-Pappalardo and her husband Sal; his son, Angelo Corona; his granddaughter, Gianna Pappalardo; his brothers, Felice Corona and his wife Tina, Emilio Corona and his wife Christina, and Tony Corona and his wife Lynda; his sister, Gloria and her husband Steve; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. In addition to his wife Antonietta Corona and his parents, he is pre-deceased by his son, Vincenzo Angelo Corona; his sister, Anna Rosa Doe; and his brother, Raffele Corona.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 9:30am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 627 East 187th Street, Bronx. Interment will follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, 2600 Lafayette Avenue, Bronx.

Vinny from the moment i met you twenty something years ago i knew i had found a forever friend. You were a true stand up guy. From our day’s at the newsstand and working with you at the shop you always were real and always a gentlemen. I will miss you and was blessed by your friendship.
